We have been in Singapore for 7 years... and loving it!
Especially with kids!
Recently I had the (not so great) idea to take my kids birthday presie shopping.....in town!
After going through all the aisles listening to "mummy I really need that toy!" we stepped out of the shop and my 3 kids were cracking up:
-Our 6 year old was pulling faces
-Our 4 year old was Singing and shouting
-And our cute 2 year old who really needed THAT toy was rolling on the floor!!
We were stuck in town and I was desperate to get my kids spend all this energy and I, mummy, really needed a coffee!
This is when I thought an app was needed to find child friendly playgrounds and kid friendly restaurants in Singapore... all on a map!
I made the app and added a few items such as activities and water playgrounds! Singapore is a fantastic place to bring up kids...
I hope the app will help you as much as it is helping us!

Fun Activities!
1. Head to Bedok Reservoir
Nice walk around the reservoir, and a nice restaurant at the end of the walk (Wawawa, 901, Bedok Reservoir Road, Singapore 479266. Tel: 6285 8038 www.wawawa.com.sg
Note: Take sunscreen lotion, hats and bikes or scooters for kids. There is a treetop walk but you will probably need to book in advance on weekends.www.forestadventure.com.sg
2. Cycling around Pulau Ubin
Need to escape the city? Head to relaxed Pulau Ubin. Go to Changi Ferry Terminal and hop on a boat.
It's only a few dollars per person (they charge a couple of dollars if you take your own bikes). You can rent bikes on the island. Nice tracks all around.
Stop for some local fruit or coconut juice on the way and end your afternoon with some nice Seafood.
Note: Bring lots of sunscreen lotion and insect repellant. Check out the herbal garden at the hotel on the right when you get to Pulau Ubin.
The hotel serves food and ice scream but make sure your kids are wearing shoes on the beach as we have seen glass in the sand!
3. Go hiking on the 10km Southern Ridges walk
Enjoy the views of the city on Mount Faber Park, Telok Blangah Hill Park, Hort Park and Kent Ridge Park. link to Southern Ridges.
Note: Bring a hat, sunscreen lotion, water, insect repellant and binoculars! The 10km might be too long for little kids so just take it in parts. Here is a blog on where to start: http://southernridges.blogspot.sg
Nice Stroll @Punggol Point Park
50 Punggol Road, Nice park with little ponds and playground. Explore the area, stroll down Punggol Point Walk at the Punggol Point Park.
Feeding animals @ Farmart

Movie time@ Sentosa 4D Magix

Get your kids to learn about the City @... The City!
